Interest

Firstly i like to thank superdan of www.est1892.co.uk for designing the site logo. He done this out of the blue and would really like to thank him for that.

I see Mr hicks has opened he big mouth again and told us that yes despite the fancy way of saying that they only put 105million on the club. But the club is still going to have to the interest on the 350million that Kop Football owe the Banks.

This doesn't look good into the future and is going to seriously affect our spending power in the transfer market.

I was actually warming to the yanks having sorted everything friday but now i think ill be chanting against them if it starts on saturday.

FA Cup Weekend

Well we made it through the game on Saturday despite some horror defending but the result was never going to be in doubt. It just goes to show if you make mistakes you should be punished for them.

The draw pits us against barnsley a very winnable game,The scum and arsenal is the tie of the round but thats takes one of them out of the cup.

I think we can win the FA cup this year.

Currently putting the finishing touches for my plans for the game against sunderland this week.

I am looking forward to this as Liverpool is a great spot, and a nice victory to go with it would put the place in a better mood.

Staduim, Loans, Backing Rafa

phew!What a day. Spent the evening laying wooden floor so apologies for not getting this to this sooner.

Liverpool never been as busy in regards to club events.

Well we finally have a stadium design . Lets hope its 3rd time lucky and we can actually afford to build this one this time. 71,000 seats should keep everyone happy and no on the phone for hours trying to get tickets. The design looks good and is very similar to the last one. Lets hope it gets build. Not sue if we need a new planning application for this one.

Loans

Well its finally sorted the loans as well. Not all of the debt is loaded on to the club by but me reading of its 105 million and inmy eyes thats a broken promise from the takeover promises. 105m is to start the ground , fund player purchases and run the club day to day. well i am glad its all sorted perhaps we can get back to the football.

Rafa
Tom Hicks statement when asked about Rafa.

"Since the meeting with Rafa on December 16th, at which some widely reported communications issues were discussed, Rafa has been assured that he has continuing and enthusiastic support as the Club's Manager.

Reflecting that support, Kop recently approved his transfer payment request to sign Martin Srktel for £6.5 million and is in discussions with Rafa and Club management regarding additional player signings this summer.

Rafa is under contract for two more seasons following this season. I am solidly behind Rafa and am confident of the team's competitive prospects under his continuing leadership".

The above statement appears to say Rafa is being supported but some fans are a little worried about this still. Until Rafa puts pen to paper on a new contract i think we will be forever reading Rafa job is insecure, much more so when we lose.

Looking Forward

Well the past few weeks have been turmoil in Liverpool ever since Hicks opened his big mouth , but hopefully we can draw a line under this part of it. I think we can look forward to nice victory tomorrow and to Monday's draw for the next round of the cup

Secondly the current goings on at our club have prompted me to create this blog to give an Irish view as to whats happening at out club.
